A few words from our Executive Director, Sue Moreland

The Bible is not a book that simply chronicles sweeping crusades or mass movements. It is also the story of individuals- people like us. Ordinary people who decided to do something, to make a contribution, to stand up and be counted. God, much more than the Marines, is looking for a few good men and women. “ For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” 2 Chronicles 16:9. I am so thrilled to be chosen by God to be a part of Sanctified Hope. My move from California to Texas was full of God’s miracles along the way…all 1,330miles. I am settled in my home, so thankful for all of you who gave, worked and prayed to make it just perfect. Now, I look forward to the miracles GOD will do in the lives of the women we will serve.

Premier Event- a splendid evening

Thank you to all 120 of you who attended our Premier Event at the Doss Heritage Center on March 31st. Thanks also to Sonya Gordon who made the beautiful cake centerpiece and to all who provided wonderful desserts.

It was a fantastic evening and we are so thankful for all who have pledged or given already. Please, if you have pledged to donate whether monthly or one time gift, we would appreciate your gift as soon as possible. Also, if you haven’t committed, please pray about your involvement in our ministry, both financially and prayerfully.

Workday – A Huge Success

Two weeks ago, we had a workday in which 5 men and 3 young boys came to help get the place ready for Sue. So thankful to Mike Conner, Nick Latham and boys, Fred Allen, Richard Lee, Grady Mays and son.

Thoughts from our Founder and Chairperson

We are now getting ready for our first women. We will begin making the other side of the duplex ready after May 15th. We still need 4 dressers, and 2 more twin beds. If a Small group, Civic group, or family would like to decorate one of the rooms, please let us know.

We are praying earnestly for a metal building 40’ x50’ to be built on our property so the women can have a place to attend classes and begin working on some projects to sell and make money. Also we do need a privacy fence. Let us know if we can present our vision to your church group, or civic club. Thanks so much for the continued prayers.
