From the Executive Director

July and August have been busy. The months fly by with a whirlwind of duties, activities and blessings. From speaking to women’s groups at churches, the Rotary Club of Weatherford, Lion’s Club and Knights of Columbus and Parole and Probation officers, we have shared Sanctified Hope. All are in agreement, Sanctified Hope will benefit Parker County as well as our nearby counties of Tarrant and Palo Pinto.

Recidivism (ex-offenders going back to jail) is a major issue across our nation and in our local area. The current statistics show that 68 % of individuals are re-arrested in 3 years and by the end of the first year 57% of women are re-incarcerated. However, Sanctified Hope can help to change those outcomes. It has been documented that ex-offenders who go through a 12 month program similar to Sanctified Hope will not go back to prison. They will become a productive member of society who gets a job, pays their taxes, may create new businesses, and return to their family to make healthy changes. Which of these do you want as your future neighbor; an ex-offender who is destined to return to prison, or a graduate of Sanctified Hope?

If your phone rings, and a friend, business associate, neighbor or friend from church confides in you that their female loved one is being released from incarceration, tell them about Sanctified Hope. Give them our Facebook Page- Sanctified Hope Home for Women, or our Website-www.Sanctifiedhope.org. Educate your world about Sanctified Hope.

Please pray for the Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers at Sanctified Hope as we encourage our program participants to SEE LIFE FROM GOD’S VIEW.

“ Do not conform your yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God.” Romans 12:2

Singing His Praises,
Sue Moreland
